If we could be our own food reviewers, we would rate this breakfast dish as Michelin-star, but unfortunately our credentials rest with this biased Blog. The brand new Roasted Portobello Mushrooms at The Deck Cafe & Bar at Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Day Spa is one of the newest additions to the fresh new breakfast menu, and we couldn’t wait to try it! Baked with rosemary in a cast iron fry pan, it is served with toasted pine nuts, crumbled feta cheese, and fresh house-made hummus. It is a savoury slice of gastronomy heaven to start your day on the right (fancy) foot. We have been listening to our guest reviews on this one, and we have heard a lot of “WOWWWWWWWWW”s, so that must mean we can’t be too far off the professional food-critic mark.
