Sun-Soaked Island Stays – Our Guide | Hotels on Nusa Lembongan

At The Deck Cafe & Bar, we know there’s a little something for everyone while staying on Nusa Lembongan, from basic sand-in-your-toes, to surfer-chic, to luxurious sophisticated spaces. Nusa Lembongan is an artisan’s playground with all of the choices of hotels and places to eat, so we love to help narrow down the options depending on what you are after to get On Island Time… and come cool off with a cold fresh juice, a proper coffee, or refreshing spiked cocktail with us!

If you want to indulge in a vibrant seaside location, we recommend any beachfront hotel on Jungut Batu Beach. Perfect for surf-checking or sunset-spotting, it is easy to walk up and down the beach for a variety of affordable backpacker-style to some cool & trendy designer boutique spaces. Close to many dive shops, these are all easy access for the early morning starts to the day. The surf breaks are easily accessible, and only a scooter ride away to all the sights & only minutes away from Lembongan Village.

If you’re up for a little adventure and want to cross the famous Yellow Bridge to Nusa Ceningan, there are also some basic to mid-range seaside spots complimented with the hammocks & sea swings all good to go to splash up your Insta! Nusa Ceningan has even been known to spot a friendly puppy here and there…! Close to the Blue Lagoon, Mahana Point, & Secret Beach, nature’s color palette over there arrests the senses, and sparks the feeling of ooooh & ahhhh.

Our favorite Nusa Lembongan Hotel, the epitome of island cool luxury with design-driven rooms deliberately intended to inspire conversation, where the guests feel perfectly On Island Time at their island home away from home, is Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa. Located along “The Hill’ in Jungut Batu, this boutique luxury resort is looking fresh with a new decor & brand, disrupting the traditional Nusa Lembongan hotel options. It is a mix of barefoot luxury with all the creative artisan design details creating the authentic feel while balancing sophisticated spaces. With three restaurant / bar venues, as well as the newest addition with the island’s first sea-front gelato shop, Parade-Ice Parlour at The Deck Cafe & Bar, Batu Karang’s bold aesthetics & moody island palettes create a sanctuary oasis for all travelers wanting something a little “extra.” And of course conveniently located above us at The Deck Cafe & Bar, what more could you ask for with that Mount Agung & turquoise sea view while watching life pass you by…..
