The Deck Cafe & Bar at Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Day Spa has a new treat in town, and it is oh so yummy….POD Chocolates! Creative twists on beautiful local dark chocolate, we are proud to stock this “healthy” delicious treat, from Ginger & Lemongrass Chocolate to Sea Salt & Cacao Nib Chocolate to Peppermint Chocolate, & 80% Dark Chocolate! Yep, you read right. Those flavour combinations are not only out of our mouth palette world (too good to be true – we think not!), but guilt-free  eating too! POD Bali works with local farmers to create organic, sustainable farming models that increase yield, quality and value for local communities.

POD uses organic lontar flower nectar as an alternative sweetener to refined sugar to create the Nectar Range of products, using local Bali ingredients. As one of the world’s most antioxidant rich superfoods, it is natural to combine cacao with locally grown, unrefined, organic nectar in place of refined sugar to create some healthy, guilt-free chocolate! Rich in vitmamins and minerals, the lotnar flower nectar is harvested in the northeast of Bali, supporting the community development for poor and malnourished families in Muntigunung.
