One of the biggest characters on staff at The Deck Cafe & Bar, Nova joined the Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Day Spa family over one year ago. We once thought of him as a sweet, shy young man initially employed at Muntigs Bar & Restaurant….however this facade quickly evolved as soon as he moved to The Deck, much to his initial dismay! Originally from Nusa Penida, Nova had also worked in Seminyak at another popular restaurant, however he wanted to be closer to his family on Penida so he found us, and are we ever fortunate. Always smiling & strutting, he radiates a positive energy infectious to the rest of the staff and guests. He walks with a good swagger, and his milkshake definitely brings the girls to our yard….and word on the street is even one time following him out to the bar one night…? Ohhhh, Nova. When asked where he sees himself in 5 years? “I BE A BOSS!” he says with a giant ear to ear grin and a boss-like nod. Although in the meantime he loves his best friends & family team at The Deck, but not to mention the views keep the skip in his step every day. His favourite drink on The Deck menu to serve is the refreshing Elixir, so please come grab a seat in his section and experience the little sparkle in his smile – it simply cannot be beat
